Clair LaVaye

Born in New Orleans, Clair LaVaye explores the limits of freedom in her writing and illustrations. Current projects include an essay on author Donatien Alphonse François, Marquis de Sade, a play on magician Aleister Crowley, and a collection of stories following the lives of the Debauch cousins, who struggle with evil in 1909 New Orleans.
